Parabolic Arch Lintel
The parabolic arch lintel enables the creation of openings with an artistically distinctive softer curvature than offered by a traditional, elliptical or gothic arch. The parabolic arch is formed by the creation of an arch in the form of the intersection of a cone with a plane parallel to the side of the cone, like a three-centred arch.
To construct a parabolic curve please see the illustration below.
All Catnic special fabricated lintels are hot-dip galvanised after manufacture for complete protection from corrosion, eliminating the need for on-site painting or maintenance.
Parabolic arch lintels are available in 10 working days from receipt of order and approved drawing.
