Independent Testing
Independent testing conducted by CERAM Research Limited clearly demonstrated the tangible benefits of using Brikmat with physically demanding masonry.
The Ceram report also highlighted:
- Walls being built without Brikmat can be as much as 6mm-10mm out of plumb on the 5th course.
- Walls built with Brikmat use up to 60% less mortar.
- Bed joints in walls built with Brikmat do not alter in thickness through a 10-course construction.
- Walls built with Brikmat can be built up to 3 times faster than those without the support of Brikmat.
